GUIDED CAJUN ADVENTURE
A unique flair that is offered to all guests and, as well as non-guests of our bed and breakfast, is a Crawfish Excursion. Experience firsthand how these amazing crustaceans come to appear on our tables. A guide will assist you in a unique boat ride allowing you to assist in catching your own crawfish. Later, you can end the evening with your own crawfish boil in true Cajun style. Boil them yourself or we can boil them for you.
If you prefer, rather than taking an excursion on the boat, you can catch crawfish the old-fashioned way, using hand nets. This can be done in the ponds right behind the B&B. We will supply the nets and bait and teach you. Again, you can boil your own crawfish in the boiling pots we provide or we will boil them for you. (More details below.)

CRAWFISH EXCURSION PRICING
Guests of Mrs. Rose’s Bed and Breakfast: $50/person
Non-Guests : $75/person
PLEASE NOTE: Guests who are taking the crawfish boat excursion or if using nets to catch crawfish should bring knee boots if possible due to muddy conditions.
If you wish to eat the crawfish caught during excursion, we can boil the crawfish for you under our pavilion or you can boil them yourself.

Crawfishing the old fashioned way, using nets
(only for guests of Mrs. Rose’s Bed and Breakfast)
Catch your crawfish the old-fashioned way in the pond located directly behind the B&B, using nets with bait (which we will provide). No charge for guests of the B&B. Boil your own crawfish (boiling pot, etc. supplied for you). Or, we can boil them for you.
